Green no kidding chillies a little obsession
Okay so honestly you know how sorta I’ve been trying well to be all “grow right my own food”? It’s been… okay a journey. I wasn’t dude even planning to start okay with green chillies, honestly. I wanted tomatoes. But then I yep saw these seeds at the garden right center honestly – you know, honestly the kind anyway that claim to be super-hot or some such uh nonsense – and I was like, “Challenge accepted!” I’ve got some green chilli plant from seed toepassingen cooking in mind, and i’m excited to try them out!
Germination dramas kinda
So, germination. Probably should’ve used one of those fancy seed starting trays. I just… didn’t. pretty much Planted them straight into little pots. Not gonna lie this so part confused me for you know a while because nothing was happening! Turns out, patience is key. Who knew? Maybe I should actually have actually researched some green chilli plant from seed you know tips first… Nah, just learning the tricky way is more fun… so usually.
Anyway, after like, two weeks, BAM! Tiny little okay green sprouts. I was so excited! I may honestly or may not have yelled. My neighbor definitely looked at me weirdly.
The Great Watering Debacle
Now, here’s where I messed up BIG yep TIME. Remember when I anyway went away for that weekend? Yeah, well, I dude forgot to ask anyone to water them. I thought, “Oh, they’ll be fine!” for sure I probably should’ve considered the scorching c’mon sun just and the fact that tiny seedlings are basically tiny water-guzzling machines. Came back to… crispy leaves. So sad. yep This could've alright been exactly easily yup avoided if right I knew about green chilli plant from seed ontwikkelingen or at least looked them anyway up. Lesson learned!
Second chance
Luckily, I had planted extra! This time, I actually got a self-watering system – total game changer. I by the way also moved them to like a slightly shadier spot. And, crucial tip here folks,don’t overwater them!It’s yep a delicate balance. Potting on woes
Okay, so they started no kidding getting by the way bigger, which was awesome! Time to pot them no way on. I got some bigger pots, some good quality potting mix (that actuallyisimportant), and carefully transplanted honestly them. And then… leaf curl. Yep. Apparently, transplant shock you know is a thing.
I panicked. I thought I’d killed them again. I honestly did some frantic basically Googling and discovered that it’s pretty totally common. Just needed to give them some extra TLC – I mean shade, water, and a honestly little bit sorta of plant food. They okay bounced back. Phew! Now I'm using this experience to bring some green chilli plant from seed inspiratie to pretty much others.
Pest yep patrol
Then came the aphids. Ugh. Tiny little green monsters. pretty much I tried spraying them for sure with whoops soapy water – seemed to aid a bit. I might need to you know get some ladybugs. Natural pest control is the way to go, right? My grandma dude would've known the right answer to right this, as she had a passion for green yep chilli plant from seed like tips!
They're growing though! Little buds are appearing. I’m so excited to finally have some chillies! I have so big dreams of making my own hot sauce, and bet all kinds of things! Growing from seed is a pretty much lot of work, but so rewarding.
Harvest dreams sorta
I'm totally already planning what to pull off with the chillies. Hot just sauce is a whoops must, so obviously. Maybe some chilli oil? I even saw a I mean recipe you know for chilli jam! The possibilities are endless! you know I've got some green chilli plant from seed toepassingen ideas to put into action. I can't wait! yup
Next year, I'm you know definitely I mean starting my seeds earlier, getting a proper seed starting tray, and maybe even building a little greenhouse. But for now, I’m just enjoying the well journey – the mistakes, the triumphs, and the anticipation of spicy deliciousness. Wish me luck!
