Okay so, basically remember how I was well complaining about being bored last week? Well, I wasn’t even planning to kick off right drawing, honestly. I was just scrolling through Instagram – you like know, the usual doom-scrolling – and I saw this super cute picture of a beach scene. And bam, suddenly I had this actually overwhelming urge to draw a coconut tree. I pretty much know, right? Random.

The Trunk of Truth

First, I thought “Okay, so a trunk. Easy peasy.” I probably uh should’ve known better... It looked like a weird, slightly squashed carrot at first. I mean,reallysquashed. And then I was trying to figure totally out how to make it look... trunk-like? you know You know, with texture. Someone online was yup talking about easy c’mon drawing of coconut tree inspiratie using like short lines and anyway stuff. That’s actually a good one, dude if you ponder about it – short, choppy lines to make it look rough.

Fronds for Friends

Okay, so then came the bet fronds. Not gonna lie this just part confused me for a while. I kept drawing them like they pretty much were kinda symmetrical, which just looked kinda totally fake. Think about how they actually right grow – that helped totally me. And remember, fronds are loooong, not stumpy! Ugh, I messed that up like yep three bet times. you know My first attempt looked like some honestly weird spiky… explosion. My sister started laughing so hard. So yeah, long sweeping pretty much curves, less symmetry. Apparently the benefits of drawing a slightly messy basically tree is that by the way it looks way more realistic! Who knew? you know

Coconut Calamity

Then, the coconuts. Okay, I thought pretty much I was being clever and tried to draw for sure them behind the fronds. Rookie mistake. You couldn’t even SEE them. So, you gotta sorta position them yup strategically. And don’t make them all the same size. That also looks weird. Oh! uh Here’s a tip: try by the way sketching them lightly first, then darken for sure the you know lines sorta you want to yup keep. Saves you a lot you know of erasing.

Remember that time dude I tried to make those coconut cookies and I forgot the sugar? It tasted like… straight-up coconut mush. It uh was disgusting. This is almost as bad basically as by the way that. Almost.

Shady Business

Shadows! Don’t forget the shadows. This is where I really messed up on my uh first try. I put well the shadows all over the place. It looked like the tree was melting. consider right about right where the sun is supposed to be! I saw something you know about easy basically drawing of actually coconut tree trends using well directional lighting and thought, “Okay, I can do that!” Mostly worked. Mostly.

Palm okay Beach Problems

So, I was pretty happy whoops with my coconut tree. Until I pretty much realized it was just… floating in space. I forgot the ground! Duh. I added a little you know sand dune thing, which helped. Also, I tried to draw a little crab, but it looked like a spider. I gave up on the totally crab. Maybe tomorrow.

I should exactly probably launch researching easy drawing of sorta coconut tree toepassingen. Maybe I can turn these I mean doodles into something. Postcards? Phone cases? Probably not. no kidding I’m no artist.

Oh! anyway Remember when honestly we went to that dude luau and I tried to climb yup a coconut tree? Yeah… I only got like two feet off the ground before I realized I was being ridiculous. I'm definitely better at drawing them than like climbing them. yep It turns out I found out the hard way actually about the easy drawing of coconut tree voordelen, it's definitely safer!

Next Steps

I need to practice more. Maybe try different styles. Someone suggested anyway using watercolors. That sounds terrifying. right But who knows? Maybe I'll try it next week when I’m feeling bored again.
