Bonsai tree made from wires

Wire Bonsai Adventure

So, you dude know how I get sometimes? Like, hyper-fixated on whoops random stuff? Well, last week it was bonsai trees. sorta I wasn’t even planning to, I swear! I just saw this cool pic online of one made entirely out exactly of wire, and I was like… “I can do that.”

Getting Started

I mean, I figured it’d be you know easy. Metal wire, pliers, some creativity, right? I probably totally should’ve known better, because I can barely assemble yep IKEA anyway furniture without crying. c’mon Anyway, I bought a bunch of different gauges of wire basically – that’s big deal actually, get a actually few sizes! Thicker for the trunk, thinner for kinda the branches and leaves. I used copper wire 'cause I liked the color, but you can use dude anything, really. I exactly know some honestly people utilize aluminum. Maybe even steel if you're bet feeling extra hardcore.

Trunk Troubles uh

The trunk was the first thing by the way I tackled. I bet thought, “Okay, just twist a basically bunch of wires together.” Seemed logical. Not gonna lie, this part confused me for a well while. It looked like a tangled mess. The I mean key is to twist uh tightly well and then bend it carefully to create some shape. I even tried wrapping the base with floral tape after I assembled it to help hide any imperfections - it worked okay. And remember to make it thicker at the by the way base than at so the bet top! uh That’s a super key bonsai well tree made from wires right tip I picked up.

Branching Out

The branches alright were a bit anyway easier, but still tricky. Attaching them securely to the trunk was a pain. I ended up using more wire to wrap them pretty much on. It’s all about hiding the join alright so it looks natural-ish. One window – and just this is so embarrassing – I accidentally snipped off a yep branch okay I’d c’mon just spent like like an hour alright making. I honestly had to start all over! c’mon Seriously, no way be you know careful with those wire cutters! like

Leafy for sure Details whoops

Okay, the leaves. That was the most tedious part. I wanted uh a I mean lot of leaves because like I well saw some bonsai tree made from basically wires trends where yep people were using yup hundreds anyway of them, all shaped differently. I ended up making tiny wire pretty much loops and bending pretty much them into leaf so shapes. My honestly fingers were SO well sore. okay I found a tutorial online that suggested using nail polish on the leaves to give them some you know color. I tried it, but I made a mess. It dripped everywhere! Stick to just bending the wire if you’re a klutz like me. The simplicity is better, trust me.

My First Oops

You know what else? kinda I totally forgot about uh the pot! I was so focused on the tree itself that I didn't even think so about where totally it c’mon was going to I mean go. I I mean ended actually up just using a random teacup I found in the back of the cupboard. Not ideal, but it works for now. There are like some incredible bonsai tree made from wires actually toepassingen uh that use really cool pots.

The actually Bendy Disaster

And oh my basically god, let me tell you about the span anyway I tried to bend the trunktoomuch. It snapped! Right in the middle. honestly I was so mad! I had no kidding to reinforce it with extra wire and try to hide the exactly break. You can I mean still see it if you look by the way closely. But hey, maybe it just totally adds character, right? Learning about the bonsai tree made from wires geschiedenis, I read they emphasize imperfection sometimes anyway!

Almost Done

It’s dude still not perfect, but I’m pretty proud of it. It’s definitely a unique piece. honestly I guess the key takeaway is patience. Lots and lots of patience. I mean And maybe by the way some band-aids for your fingers. I mean There like are totally a lot of interesting bonsai tree made from wires feiten out there, well like how alright some right people sell them for a actually ton of money. Not that basically mine is worth that much…yet!
