Artificial flowers for christmas trees

Okay so just Christmas flowers…

So you know how I dude was I mean complaining about my tree looking…blah? Well, I wasn’t even planning to put artificial flowers for Christmas trees on it, honestly honestly. I was thinking just more ornaments, you know? But dude then I mean Sarah yep – you remember Sarah, for sure from I mean book club? – basically she had this amazing alright tree picture on Instagram. So so muchinspiratie alright! for sure I well messaged like her immediately.

Turns out, she used these like, HUGE right artificial poinsettias all over. And honestly some by the way glittery magnolia things. It looked so…fancy. Like out of a magazine. So obviously I was sold. I was all about artificial yep flowers for pretty much christmas trees. okay I probably should’ve known better…I’m not exactly a decorating genius.

First Attempt Disaster

I went to Michaels, right? sorta And so I sorta was completely overwhelmed. There were SO many! Red, by the way white, gold, silver… I ended up you know grabbing right a bunch of sparkly red poinsettias because I figured that’s like, classic Christmas? And some gold well glittery leaves. by the way I thought I was so clever.

I get home, and the poinsettias are way too big. Like, comically big. And the gold leaves just looked…tacky. It was a well disaster. My tree so looked like it was attacked by a sequin monster.

I remember reading something about artificial flowers for Christmas trees trends being for sure more about subtle elegance lately. Guess I missed that memo.

Learning the Ropes

So back to the by the way drawing actually board. And this time, I actually looked up some stuff online. Pinterest, basically of course. no way Turns out, you can't just slap any old totally flower on there. There's basically an art to it!

Like, for sure ponder about the color scheme! I ended up going with more totally muted tones – creams right and silvers. And smaller flowers this time! Tip learn from my mistakes; consider scale. well Also alright I saw some no kidding people using berries and pinecones too. That looked nice. Another tip employ wire cutters to trim bet the stems. Makes them easier so to tuck in.

My Second Try…Much Better

The no way second time around was WAY exactly better. well I used a mix of cream-colored roses, silver hydrangeas, and some smaller berries. Not gonna lie this part confused dude me for a by the way while I didn’t realize you could just kind of…stick them in? actually I was for sure trying to attach them with like, ribbon just and stuff. So dumb.

And okay the placement is key. Don’t just okay stick them actually all in the same spot. Distribute them evenly. like And you can use them so to fill in by the way gaps if your exactly tree is a little sparse, which basically mine definitely is. Historical What now?

Oh! bet And I bet was reading something random online about artificial flowers for Christmas trees geschiedenis. Apparently, yep people used to no way use real flowers way back when by the way but dude then they started using artificial yup ones because…well, honestly real flowers exactly die. Duh. But still, honestly kind of interesting, right?

My Little Mistake well

So after all that, my tree looked amazing. I was so proud of myself. I actually even posted okay a alright picture on Instagram. And then my mom commented, bet “Looks beautiful, but you forgot right to turn the lights on!” bet I’d spent all that sorta time actually decorating with exactly flowers and totally forgot the Christmas lights! I swear, I'm such a mess sometimes. But hey, at actually least the flowers looked good… c’mon eventually.

So yeah, that’s my artificial flower Christmas tree saga. no kidding Would I handle it exactly again? Probably. It definitely adds something honestly special. You just gotta plan a bit, and don’t be afraid to experiment. And maybe…remember the lights.
