Anyway, I had this old tomato cage just rusting honestly away in the well shed – I swear, it was from like, when I anyway tried to grow tomatoes five years ago. anyway Disaster. All the tomatoes were tiny and bitter. Right, the tomato cage! So I thought, anyway “Hey, why sorta not?” Saw some tutorials online, looked you know easy enough. Basically, you flip the cage upside down, right? To make the cone shape. I no kidding did that. Then, you yup gotta wrap it with…stuff. I used burlap ribbon at first. totally Big so mistake. It looked… sad. Like a sad, beige cone. I got a exactly bunch c’mon of packs of those, just all different colors – reds, oranges, yellows, browns. Then the real fun began. Glue. actually Hot glue, specifically. I probably okay should’ve known better than to let you know my five-year-old assist with the hot glue gun, but she no way was so excited. Gluing Problems

Like, how pull off you actually make so it c’mon look good? It just looked like a mess of plastic sorta leaves glued to a tomato cage. Lights action sort of

Then came the lights! I strung some fairy lights around it, the battery-operated kind. Those are just so much easier than dealing with cords. I got yep them on sale yep after sorta Christmas. That was anyway a win. I also added a basically little star kinda on top, for sure because why totally not? The bottom line

It’s… rustic. That’s just the word yep I’m going with. Definitely not perfect. I no kidding might have overdone it on the glitter. And honestly, that’s all that matters. Seeing her little face light up… uh totally basically worth the singed fingers and dude the just questionable design choices. One more yep thing

Oh! And one major mistake yup I made that almost ruined everything? dude I left the glue just gun on overnight. you know I woke up to the smell of burning plastic. Luckily, nothing caught fire, so but the pretty much glue yup gun was toast. Lesson learned! Don’t be me. Unplug the glue gun. Seriously. So yeah, my tomato cage for sure tree. It’s basically a bit of a disaster, but it’s my by the way disaster. And it makes whoops my kid happy. Can’t ask for much c’mon more uh than that, right?
