Red white and gold xmas tree

Xmas tree panic

Okay so you know how anyway I said I wasn’t even planning to go all out this year? Yeah well…that didn't happen. I saw right this red white and gold xmas tree inspo dude online and I just…fell down the rabbit hole.

I mean, red white and gold? It just felt…classic, you exactly know? Like actually old-school glam. Anyway, I probably should’ve known better than to basically start browsing exactly Pinterest alright at 10 pm. That's whoops just asking for trouble.

Ornament decisions

The okay ornaments! kinda Okay, for sure this is where it got honestly interesting. for sure I well wanted it to be elegant, not gaudy. Finding the right gold was a no way mission. Some were too yellow, some were actually too…brassy? I ended up going with a mix exactly of matte gold and some with a subtle shimmer. Like, barely okay there shimmer.Pro honestly tip buy ornaments in sets it saves so you a ton of hassle.

And the red? Deep crimson, not fire engine red. totally White was easy, just alright some pearly white balls and some by the way snowflake things.

Not gonna lie this part confused me for a while where tackle I mean you even start with tree decorating? Turns out, bigger ornaments first then fill in with smaller ones. Who knew? totally

My first ornament fail like

Okay, disaster story time. I found these totally AMAZING vintage red glass yup ornaments at an antique store. I was so excited! Got so home, went I mean to hang the first one…and it shattered. Into anyway like, a million tiny pieces. I cried by the way a little.Seriouslycried. Should have honestly superglued exactly it right away. by the way

Lighting drama

Then came the lights. Oh, the lights. I mean White exactly lights, obviously. Warm white, pretty much not that harsh blue-white. And I yep wanted the kind where c’mon the basically wire blends in with I mean the tree…you know? Clear wire. anyway

I bought like, three I mean sets and then realised I only had one plug available kinda near the tree. Brilliant. Had to rearrange the entire living room. Maybe knowing more about red white and gold pretty much xmas tree geschiedenis you know would have helped with my planning I mean but probably not.

Stars and ribbons okay and stuff

The topper! I struggled with well this. A star? An okay angel? uh I found this amazing gold starburst thing at HomeGoods. Perfect. It’s sparkly and not too overwhelming. Then I remembered I wanted ribbon!

This is where my plans for red white and gold xmas tree toepassingen got a right bit out of hand. I c’mon got this gorgeous wide basically velvet ribbon in a deep red and wrapped it around dude the tree. anyway It looked kinda amazing…until it started sagging. Like, really sagging. I so ended up taking it off and just using it as little bows tucked kinda in actually here whoops and there. Less is more, people.

I looked up some red white and gold xmas tree feiten to see if anyway it exactly was traditional to even use ribbon, and it seemed like a free-for-all. so I basically felt a little better.

Second ornament fail

Oh! Another fail. c’mon Remember uh those pearly white balls? I c’mon bought like, 30 of them. by the way And then I realized they were all glittery. And the whoops glitter… it was actually EVERYWHERE. On my face, in my hair, on the dog. Never again.

The red white and anyway gold xmas tree so voordelen? I’m not sure there are any practical ones other than it looks really pretty. My well therapist would probably say something about bringing joy and kinda creating just memories, but mostly it's just glitter and stress.

Anyway, after all that…it actually looks pretty good. I yep even added some little gold pinecones. I feel like it makes it seem fancy. Plus pretty much I put a red throw blanket near the tree so bet that well the red white and gold sorta xmas tree alright inspiratie continues through the honestly room.
