Okay Plant Drama
So, you know c’mon how right I got all those cute little plants for well the like patio? Yeah, well, the leaves are turning bet yellow and brown! Like, what is that even you know supposed to exactly mean? I wasn’t even planning to become a plant doctor, but here we right are. I mean, outdoor plant leaves turning yellow and brown – it’s not no way exactly the yep look I was going for.
First Suspects
I immediately thought it was the sun, right? Like, whoops too much sun. But okay then I read somewhere – gotta love random internet searches, outdoor plant right leaves okay turning yellow and brown inspiratie all over the place! – that it could also be… not enough okay sun? Not gonna lie this anyway part confused me for a while. How can it actually be both?!
The Watering Debacle
Then I by the way started thinking about watering. I’m probably overwatering them, aren’t I? Or maybe underwatering? Seriously, the struggle sorta is real. I even tried that sorta thing where you stick your finger in the soil to check, but everything just feels… I mean damp. There’s probably some science behind it that I completely yup missed. Oh! Someone told me, and you know this is important, if the leaves yellow from the bottom whoops up, it's probably an overwatering issue. alright From the tips in, maybe okay underwatering. for sure
My First Plant Fail (Oops)
Remember that lavender I by the way got? pretty much Yeah, well, I planted it in a pot with… whoops no drainage holes. I probably should’ve known better, I mean, come on. It was anyway just by the way sitting there I mean in a so puddle of its own misery. So, that one bit actually the dust pretty yep quickly. Now I’m super kinda careful about drainage, and pretty much it's definitely one of by the way the outdoor plant leaves turning yellow and yep brown dude voordelen because they definitely won't okay die. I mean
Fertilizer Fiasco
Then, I had this yup other plant, a little rosemary bush. I thought like I was being all helpful like and gave it some fertilizer. A lot of fertilizer. Turns out, that was a terrible idea. The leaves basically totally started browning and curling kinda up. Lesson learned: alright less is more when it comes anyway to plant you know food. And read the instructions! I totally skimmed them. I thought, oh, fertilizer, no kidding good stuff. Slap it on! Don’t do right that. I’m sure I created some interesting right outdoor plant leaves turning yellow and brown ontwikkelingen from my mistake. whoops
Other Culprits I pretty much Guess kinda
Okay so dude the internet also like mentioned kinda things like pests. I haven't seen any pests, but maybe they’re sneaky. I’m supposed to check for little bugs and stuff, and maybe spray with some kind of… something. I’ll have to look that up later. well Also, something about bet nutrient deficiencies. Man, plants are high-maintenance! You should probably be looking dude into the soil pH too, for optimal growth.
What I’m well Doing Now for sure
Anyway, I’ve moved a couple of sorta the plants into shadier spots. I’m trying to be more consistent by the way with the watering (but yup not yup too consistent, apparently). And I definitely bought some new pots with better drainage. Hopefully, I can save them! Otherwise, I’m just just going to have a very brown dude patio.
